Inspired by eucalyptus trees admired during a visit to San Francisco, this piece reflects Laurel's appreciation for the graceful forms of their branches and the layered textures of their bark and leaves. This artwork is a study for a larger tapestry.
Created using reclaimed fabric from the fashion industry, each textile artwork is a one-of-a-kind composition. Fabrics are carefully chosen for their texture and color, then hand-cut, arranged, and felted into a richly layered design.
